Lex: your social media
Lex drafts posts, makes images or videos for them, and puts them on your posting calendar.
Connect your accounts
Open Lex's Accounts tab and click Connect. You can connect one account on each: Facebook (one Page), Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit, YouTube and Pinterest (pick a default board once it connects). X is coming soon.
Create posts
- Chat: ask “Draft a week of posts for our business”. Lex puts the drafts on your calendar
- Compose: write a post yourself. Pick channels, add text and media, then Save Draft, Schedule Post or Post Now. Generate with AI writes the caption for free
Good to know: Instagram and YouTube posts need an image or video. YouTube takes video only.
Your calendar
The Calendar tab has month and list views. Drag a post to another day to move it. Click a post to Edit, Duplicate or Delete it. Drafts only publish once you click Schedule (or Schedule N to schedule all drafts at once).
Automatic posts
Click Automatic posts in the chat and turn on Automatic planning. Lex drafts 3 posts each run, daily, weekly or every two weeks. Keep Draft for review to approve them yourself, or choose Auto-schedule. Images are optional, and video is never made automatically.
Tip: Tell Lex your tone and favourite topics in instructions & memory, for example “Playful tone, focus on behind-the-scenes”.
